From The Owner

I have always had a strong interest in clothing. From an early age, I appreciated clothing that felt different, not loud or excessive, but distinctive enough that people would notice and ask where they were from. For me, good clothing has always been about more than appearance alone. It is about confidence, identity, and the way a piece of clothing can carry you through different parts of your day.

Alongside that, sport has always played a major role in my life. Growing up through tennis, I spent years travelling across the country for competitions, moving from city to city and constantly adapting to different environments, schedules, and routines. One thing I noticed early on was how often clothing felt divided by purpose. What worked for training or competing rarely felt right afterwards, whether that meant seeing friends, going out for food, having a drink, or doing something as casual as heading to the driving range.

That same issue followed me into everyday life. After playing sport, my friends and I would often have plans straight afterwards, yet we would still feel the need to go and change first. It made me realise there was space for something better, clothing designed not just for one setting, but for the flow between them.

Momentum Dept. came from that idea.

The brand was built around the belief that modern sportswear should extend beyond sport itself. It should feel just as right in social settings as it does in active ones. Inspired by years spent around tennis, training, travel, and everyday routines, Momentum Dept. is designed to offer a more versatile approach to dressing, one that blends sporting influence with a clean, elevated aesthetic.

At its core, the brand reflects the lifestyle I have always known: moving between sport, friends, work, travel, and downtime without wanting to change who you are, or what you are wearing, every time the setting changes. Momentum Dept. is about creating pieces that feel effortless across all of it. Refined, functional, and understated, with an emphasis on quality and versatility.
